Madison Magazine
As a design intern on the Content Marketing team of JMU's Madison Magazine, I created and collaborated on a wide variety of projects. The most significant projects included my featured publication design on page 80, By the Numbers of the Fall 2023 Issue of the Madison Magazine, the soon to be published JMU Shield App logo and other assets, First Generation Badges for JMU students and staff email signatures, the Senior Compass graphic, the Educational Talent Search graphic, and collaborated with my supervisor on an advertisement for Insight to Diversity. In addition to these projects, I also created secondary marks for many of the university's departments, updated staff business cards, aided in photographic research and resizing of images for web usage, designed infographics for presentations, and collaborated with my supervisors and other design interns on a variety of internal and external projects.

Kings Dominion Airbrush Artist Work
Displayed below are a variety of my best custom orders completed while I worked as an airbrush artist at King's Dominion during 2022. For each order, customers provided me with an image of what they wanted, and I would draw that image onto the t-shirt. Because we aim to produce as many good works for our customers as possible in a day, I did very minimal sketch work and relied primarily on my ability to successfully recreate and imitate the art styles displayed in each photo. Most custom works ranged from about 30 minutes to around 2 hours to complete.
NHBC Day School T-Shirt Design
Working alongside the Day School Director at New Highland Baptist Church, I created a T-Shirt illustrated graphic for their 2024 design. The client desired a graphic that was cohesive to their logo while being fun, bright, and encouraging. I created to renditions of the design for my client: one with a fun text graphic and another with illustrations of kids, drawn and designed by me. The final designs were created using Adobe Illustrator.
P23 Retreat
I have been volunteering with P23 Retreat since August of 2024. P23 Retreat is a local non-profit based in the Richmond area whose missions is to "create space for parents to grieve." They serve parents who have experienced the loss of a child and are grieving as well as parents that have been referred to them by grief counselors, pastors and community partners. To learn more about P23 Retreat, visit https://www.p23retreat.org.
As a volunteer designer, I have worked with the team at P23 Retreat on several projects. I created an updated version of their logo with high quality files, designed and illustrated flyers for their Mother's Day and Father's Day retreats in 2025, created a brand guide, and updated their business cards. I am continuing to work with them to release other promotional materials for future events and other collateral for this awesome organization!
