From a young age, I have always explored the natural patterns of life. Whether it be examining the petals of a flower, listening to classical music or making jewelry designs out of play dough, I have always had a special eye for life's most beautiful designs. After I progressed from finger painting to starting to draw, I was always drawn to the human figure and patterns in nature. Each with their own unique design, I have always strived to explore and capture these phoneme to demonstrate their beauty to the rest of the world. I used to love picking apart plants to understand what the were comprised of or examining snowflake designs on a chilled window. Whatever it is, I am attracted to the story it tells. As both an artist and musician, storytelling plays a significant role in my process as a designer. Similar to design, music paints a beautiful pictures filled with a variety of emotive colors and contours in its sound and rhythm that are used to move people, make them feel seen, heard, etc. As a designer, that is exactly what I aim for: to visually "paint" a beautiful picture to the world around me and strive to make things the best that they can be.

Some fun facts about me...

I graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. For more information about my education and work experiences, check out my resume linked below!

I am also a musician! I have been playing violin for over 10 years now, and participated in both the Chamber and Symphony orchestras during my time at JMU. I also play piano, and have been doing so for around 10 years now. Music is a huge passion of mine, and I plan to keep pursuing it in the future. My favorite composer is Tchaikovsky.

I am a big reader! I love spending my free time cozied up with a good book in my hand and some tea on my night stand. Reading has always helped extend my imagination and enter new and interesting worlds that provide great stories.

I love to exercise and be outside. I am a runner, and being outside is one of my happy places because there is so much beauty to be inspired by. Nature walks, trail runs, hiking, weight training, and martial arts are some of my favorite forms of exercise! Fun fact: one of my goals is to become a black belt one day :)

I'm a huge nerd. Yes, I love everything from Star Wars to Harry Potter (I am a Hufflepuff for those who are curious), Disney to DC and Marvel, and much more. Ask me anything, and I will happily talk about it with you!
